Welcome to KMG365.com
I originally started KMG365 in 1998. At that time fan fiction on the internet was a brand new thing although it had been around for over 20 years in print zines. There were no sites dedicated to Emergency! at that time and very few Emergency! stories in print zines either. Emergency! was an orphan fandom. But once I posted the site Emergency! fans responded by the hundreds and in a few short months we had well over 100 stories posted and they were being submitted so fast that I had to limit the new stories posted to three a day as that was all I had time to post. Around this time Emergency! was re-run on TVLAND and more people discovered this great show. In time, more Emergency! fan fiction sites came on line so all the sites began to specialize in different characters or different types of stories.
Over time interest waxed and waned and I finally took the site down in the mid 2000s. But people are still searching for these stories so I am re-posted a scaled down version of the original site. I will only be posting my own stories. I am not accepting stories from other writers. I just don’t have time to do that any more.
Since these are only my stories, my Emergency! universe if you like, I will point out a few places where my world differs from the show and from other fan fic. All but one of these stories is set in the 70s in the show time frame. Some of them were written when the show was on the air. Some were written in the 90s and early 2000s.
In my universe, Station 18 is an all female fire station. This was not created as a source of love interests for Johnny or any of the other single guys at Station 51. This was done as a protest to the fact that in Emergency! most female characters, other than Dixie, were portrayed as either bimbos or battle-axes. I wanted to see women portrayed in a different light. In my universe Roy has two kids, Chris and his older sister Joy. His son was named in the series. No name was given for his daughter. In my universe I have chosen the fatter image of Bob Bellingham not the skinnier one. There was a lot of confusion in the show about Bryce’s partner and that was how I chose to deal with it.
My style of fan fiction is stories that stay as close as possible to the series in terms of format, character portrayal and types of stories I chose to tell. Most of the stories are set on duty with less attention on the personal lives of the characters. I try to write episodes I would have like to have seen.
I have tried to break the stories down to various categories to make it easier to find the type of story you want to read. The categories are listed on the right under the word Logbook just click on one to see the stories posted there. It will take me a while to get all the stories posts but they will all eventually be there. Someday I may even write some more.
Hope you enjoy them!
